The people behind the practice

Zola is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He has advised corporate and public sector clients across a range of labour and employment matters, and appears at the CCMA, the Labour Court and various bargaining councils. He has extensive experience in the Higher Education, Retail and Banking Sectors.

Zola has a particular interest in sports and immigration law, and has acted for corporate and individual clients in both.

Heineke joined the firm in 2020, following a career in senior human resources leadership in the hotel and leisure industry. He led the human resources discipline for multinational hotel groups across Africa, the Indian Ocean and the Middle East, and holds an LLM in Labour Law from the University of Cape Town.

Uzukhanye joined the firm in 2025 and completed his articles of clerkship in January 2026. He holds an LLB from the University of the Western Cape. His experience includes a CCMA appearance, chairing a disciplinary hearing and published commentary on employment and company law.
