Uzukhanye Myoywana

Uzukhanye joined the firm in 2025 and completed his articles of clerkship in January 2026. He holds an LLB from the University of the Western Cape. His experience includes a CCMA appearance, chairing a disciplinary hearing and published commentary on employment and company law.
Career
Uzukhanye began his legal career as a candidate attorney at MRT Law Inc. before joining Mcaciso Stansfield Incorporated in 2025 for the second year of his articles.

Experience
Uzukhanye made his first solo appearance at the CCMA and chaired his first disciplinary hearing in January 2026. He has contributed commentary on dishonesty in workplace disciplinary proceedings, including the PathCare judgment. His case note, “Caution against directors who dip into the company’s cookie jar”, was published in De Rebus in March 2025 and examines directors’ fiduciary duties under the Companies Act 71 of 2008.
